‘It’s good for our health to drink eight glasses of water everyday’. This is the golden rule that be known by people for a long time. But, coffee valve have seen a report from foreign media recently, even said that drinking too much water will be dead.

This article is from the foreign public media published in 2016 in the United States National Academy of Sciences on a entitled article ‘excessive drinking water, swallowing inhibition, and before the brain in the swallow of the local reaction’ . For this article, foreign media gave two versions. The first version is thirsty before drinking water. The second version is to study the challenge of hard water intake.

A study in Australia shows that drinking water overdose, comparing swallowing water and thirst, it’s need to pay three times effort when drink water overdose. The meaning of this study is that drinking water will drink full, it also will stimulate the brain's swallowing inhibition reaction, thereby preventing excessive drinking water.

In discussing the part of the study, the author argues that excessive drinking water will stimulate swallowing to prevent the risk of excessive drinking water, such as water poisoning. However, the study itself does not involve drinking water volume, behavior standards, recommendations and the pros or cons of drinking water. Which means drink water will not cause death.
