Some products create gas after they are packed. If the gas stays in the bag, the bag becomes puffy. It may look bad, take more space, or even burst. A one-way degassing valve lets the gas out but keeps air from going in.
Coffee bags are the most common example. Freshly roasted coffee releases carbon dioxide. This happens for several days after roasting. If the bag is fully sealed, pressure will build up. But if the bag is opened, oxygen will change the flavor. With a valve, gas goes out and the coffee stays fresh.
Fermented or active food also needs help.Products like enzyme drinks, probiotic powder, or starter mixes make gas during storage. A valve helps the bag keep its shape and protects the inside.
Some pet food, high-protein feed, or oily ingredients also release gas slowly. Heat can make this happen faster. A degassing valve can stop the bag from swelling.
In short, if a product makes gas and still needs to stay sealed, wojin one way degassing valve is the right choice.
